Captain First Rank Roman Hladky, appointed this summer as the Chief of Staff of the Unmanned Systems Forces Command, no longer holds this position, Suspilne reported on Wednesday.
"We have changed our Chief of Staff," Staff Sergeant of the Unmanned Systems Forces Command Oleksandr Yarmak said in an interview with Suspilne.
According to Yarmak, a new person has already been appointed to this position, but he did not specify who it is.
"I am not personally acquainted with this person, but there are many volunteer movements that give good reviews about him. We will see," he said.
Another source of Suspilne from the Unmanned Systems Forces Command confirmed that Hladky was recently transferred from the Command, another person has already been appointed in his place, but they also do not report who became the new chief of staff.
As reported, on September 20, a source in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine that Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov fired two deputy heads of the Main Intelligence Agency and plans to conduct large-scale personnel "purges" - to fire about 20 generals and officials due to the "Soviet approach" and "inefficiency." Among the candidates for dismissal, the agency's interlocutor named Hladky.
