Oschadbank to perform financial assistance for single electronic ticket system

Financial operations linked with the sale of tickets according to the single electronic ticket system will be performed through Oschadbank (Kyiv), Transport and Communications Minister Yosyp Vinsky has told journalists at a briefing in Kyiv.

According to Vinsky, the test purchase of tickets according to the system in sale points to be opened in the Ukrposhta departments (the state Ukrainian mail service enterprise) has been performed.

"We are looking forward to actions from the side of Ukrzaliznytsia to launch the system for all kinds of transport at the same time. I think Ukrzaliznytsia will enter the system in two weeks," Vinsky said.

According to the minister, the launch of the single electronic ticket system is scheduled for late March.

As reported referring to Vinsky, it was planned to sell tickets for air and bus transportation through the system inside the country at the first stage, and sell tickets for railway transportation at the second stage.
