Ukrzaliznytsia puts on 23 additional trains for March 8
The State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) is to put on 23 additional trains for the period from March 5 to March 9 because of the March 8 holiday.
According to an Ukrzaliznytsia press release issued on Thursday, Odesa Railways is putting on three additional trains on the Kherson-Odesa-Mykolaiv route (departure from Kherson on March 5 and March 9 and from Kyiv on March 6 and March 10), the Kyiv-Odesa-Kyiv route (March 6 and March 9) and the Odesa-Kharkiv-Znamenka route (departure from Odesa on March 9 and from Kharkiv on March 10).
Prydniprovska Railway is putting on three extra trains, which would run between Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv (on March 6), Zaporizhia-Kyiv-Dnipropetrovsk (departure from Zaporizhia on March 9, from Kyiv- on March 10) and two trains Simferopol-Kyiv (departure from Simferopol on March 5 and March 9, from Kyiv – March 6, March 7, March 10 and March 11).
Pivdenno-Zakhidna Railways is to put on four additional trains, two of them on the Kyiv- Uzhgorod route (departure from Kyiv – on March 6 and March 8, from Uzhgorod – on March 7 and March 9), one on the Kyiv-Simferopol route (departure from Kyiv on March 6 and March 8, from Simferopol – on March 7 and March 9) and one on the Uzhgorod-Kyiv route with departure from Uzhgorod on March 7.
Donetsk Railways is to put on three additional Donetsk-Kyiv trains, two of which are to depart from Donetsk on March 5 and from Kyiv- on March 6, and one from Donetsk on March 9 and from Kyiv on March 10, and the Luhansk-Kyiv train with departure from Luhansk on March 5 and from Kyiv on March 6.
Pivdenna Railways is to put on an extra Kharkiv-Simferopol train (with departure from Kharkiv on March 6 and from Simferopol on March 7) and a Kharkiv-Kyiv train (with departure from Kharkiv on March 6, and from Kyiv on March 7).
Lviv Railways is putting on six extra trains: Ivano-Frankivsk-Kyiv-Chernivtsi (with departure from Lviv on March 5 and March 9, from Kyiv – on March 6 and March 10), two trains on the Lviv-Kyiv-Ivano-Frankivsk route (departure from Lviv on March 6 and from Kyiv – on March 6 and March 7), the Kyiv-Lviv-Kyiv train (March 6 and March 8) and the Ivano-Frankivsk-Kyiv-Lviv train with departure from Ivano-Frankivsk on March 9 and from Kyiv on March 10.
OAO Russian Railways (RZD) is to put on an extra Moscow-Simferopol train with departure from Moscow on March 7 and from Simferopol on March 8.
