Agriculture Ministry offers to create special commission to check wine production

The Agriculture Ministry of Ukraine has offered to create a special commission to make checks on wine production, according to a draft law posted on the Web site of the ministry.

It is supposed that the commission, which will include specialists from the State Tax Administration, Agriculture Ministry and sector organizations, will check whether cognac producers have a full technical cycle and use domestic cognac spirits.

The conclusions of the commission on the results of the checks will be taken into account when making decisions on issuing licenses permitting wine production to such producers.
