EBRD could provide $30 m working capital loan for procurement of agricultural commodities
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) could provide a $30 million working capital loan to Canada-based Viterra Inc., a global agri-business with extensive operations across Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand, for th e procurement of agricultural commodities, reads a bank report issued on Thursday.
The issue is pending final review by the bank's board on January 17, 2011.
The bank said that the company's traditional regions of operations are North America and Australia. Viterra is a relatively new player in Eastern Europe.
