Only 5% of Feodosiya fuel passes through customs clearance in October, says A-95 center
Only 5% of petrol shipped by the Feodosiya Enterprise for Oil Products Provision (Crimea) passed through customs clearance in October, according to the Kyiv-based A-95 consulting company.
"In October, 2,049 tonnes of imported A-95 petrol passed through customs clearance in Feodosiya, while 41,792 tonnes were shipped by rail. Ukrainian residents shipped the fuel, which excludes the option of fuel being transited," the company said.
A-95 experts point out considerable mismatch in supplies of diesel fuel by Feodosiya Enterprise for Oil Products Provision.
"9,910 tonnes of imported fuel passed customs clearance, while according to Ukrzaliznytsia, 46,054 tonnes of fuel was shipped. Thus, only 33% of diesel fuel passed through customs clearance," the company said.
A-95 experts says that losses of the national budget due to the non-payment of value added tax and excise duties from shipping of fuel by Feodosiya Enterprise for Oil Products Provision exceeds UAH 1 billion.
Feodosiya Enterprise for Oil Products Provision is among top five largest sea handling companies. The company is subordinated to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
