The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has ratified an air services agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of Georgia.
Some 299 of the 369 registered MPs voted for a law on ratification.
According to an explanatory note to the document, the adoption of the law is aimed at creating a bilateral legal framework for air services between Ukraine and Georgia.
The main regulations in this field are the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago, 1944), the law of Ukraine on the international treaties of Ukraine, and the Air Code of Ukraine.
