Some 1,407 land sale and purchase deals were signed in Kyiv region in August 2011, which is 2.8% down from July 2011 and 14.98% down from August 2010, SV Development (Kyiv) has told Interfax-Ukraine.
In January-August 2011, the number of deals fell by 11.2% compared to January-August 2010 (11,605), to 10,185.
As reported, with reference to SV Development, the number of land sales and purchase deals in Kyiv region in 2010 grew by 47.2% compared to 2009, to 17,950.
The average price of a deal in 2010 rose by 44%, to $26,000 (in 2009 the average price did not exceed $18,000).
SV Development has been working in Ukraine since 2005 in the segment of consulting, assessment and sales on the land market, and the markets for residential and commercial real estate.
