Dnipropetrovsk-based Bank Credit Dnepr has opened credit lines with the general limit of $3.6 million for Ukrrichflot.
The bank's press service reported that the credit funds would be used to replenish the company's circulating funds.
The press release also said that Ukrrichflot owns ports and a fleet of some 400 vessels. The company also includes shipyards, which allows the company to regularly upgrade its fleet and service its vessels.
Ukrrichflot sails in the Danube, Dnipro, Pivdenny Buh rivers and Black and Mediterranean seas, the northern seas of Europe and the western coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
Bank Credit Dnepr was registered in 1993. As of July 1, 2011, the bank's only shareholder was Brancroft Enterprises Limited (Cyprus) with a 100% stake, and the bank's beneficiary owner was the famous Ukrainian businessman Victor Pinchuk and members of his family.
The bank ranked 34th among Ukraine's 176 operating banks in terms of total assets (UAH 5.717 billion) as of April 1, 2011, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
