The National Communications Regulatory Commission (NCRC) has approved a draft procedure for regulation of tariffs for access to electric communications cable ductwork, reads a Friday posting on the commission's Web site.
The report says that the commission would regulate tariffs by setting ceiling tariffs for the following services: drawing up and issuing technical specifications, the agreement of working projects, the technical supervision of owners of electric communications cable ductwork, the booking and allocation of channels in the cable ductwork, and the use of cable ductwork.
The commission is planning to form tariffs on the basis of production cost of labor and services. The draft procedure will be posted on the commission's Web site.
As reported, in late 2010 the Ukrainian parliament passed a law, according to which the state regulates tariffs for access to electric communications cable ductwork.
