Milkiland approves former Nestle employee company head

Milkiland N.V., the holding company of Milkiland Group, has appointed Frederick Joseph Aherne CEO.

Aherne had worked at Nestle at various posts for 24 years and currently he is Non-executive Director of Milkiland.

According to a company report on Wednesday, the decision was approved by a general meeting of shareholder on June 17, 2011.

The shareholders also appointed Gerard Heerink non-executive director for a period ending at the close of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in 2012.

Gerard has broad experience in building the milk supply chains with the involvement of Dutch farmers cooperatives on the positions of a Managing Directors responsible for Cooperative affairs and Raw materials supply in the Head Office of FrieslandCampina and Friesland Foods (2004-2010).

Anatoliy Yurkevych, Viacheslav Rekov and Olha Yurkevych were re-appointed as members of the Board of Directors for the second four-year period of the office.
