The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has amended the list of transactions that involve central bank bodies, and the tariffs for them, in particular, the unified the tariff for currency conversion.
The amendments were made in NBU resolution No. 428, which comes into effect on January 26.
The document posted on the parliament's website says that the cost of transactions on currency conversion is set at 0.1% of the sum sent for conversion, while earlier the tariff for these transactions varied depending on the class of converted currencies (0.1-0.5%).
The NBU resolution also revised tariffs for the purchase and sale of currency for organizations- NBU clients that are financed from the national budget: the tariff for purchase of currency was set at 0.1% of the sum denominated in hyvnias for the purchase of currency; the tariff for sale is set at 0.05% of the sum denominated in hyvnias received from sale of currency. Earlier the tariffs for these transactions for budget clients were not fixed: it was equal to the equivalent of expenses linked with transactions on interbank (international) currency market.
In addition, the resolution expanded the list of chargeable NBU services: it includes the issue of licenses for the reorganization of banks under decisions of their owners (UAH 2,210) and the issue of a copy of the license for the registration of correspondent accounts (UAH 85).
