Concorde Capital investment company (Kyiv) is planning in 2011 to start trading in securities on European exchanges, Concorde Capital CEO Ihor Mazepa has reported.

"Now we are getting a European license that will allow us to independently, without the involvement of brokers, to trade on the London, Warsaw and other European exchanges, where our issuers will be quoted," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

Mazepa explained that when participating in placements in Warsaw or London it is important to have the possibility of trading and be a market maker on this market.

"We cannot count on big spreads on European markets, but we are trading on a very efficient market in Ukraine, so our major benefit is that we know the peculiarities of our business unlike Polish brokers, for example," he said.

Concorde Capital Investment Group, established in 2004, offers a full range of investment and banking services in Ukraine, Russia, and the CIS. It is one of the leading companies in Ukraine.
