Naftogaz creates subsidiaries to supply gas to heat suppliers, industrial consumers
NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy in the middle of August 2018 registered two gas supplying subsidiaries - LLC Naftogaz Teplo (Heat) and LLC Naftogaz Trading.
On September 4, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) will consider the question of issuing licenses to these companies for the supply of natural gas.
The websites of the newly established companies say they plan to become gas traders for thermal distributing enterprises and industrial consumers, respectively.
Pavel Petchenko heads of LLC Naftogaz Teplo, while Vitaly Volynets heads Naftogaz Trading.
Naftogaz Ukrainy unites oil and gas production assets in Ukraine, and is the country's gas transit, underground gas storage, and oil pipeline transportation monopoly.
