The State Road Service of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) is to open orbital roads around Donetsk and Luhansk on November 3, 2010 following their reconstruction.
The Ukravtodor's press service reported that a 12.3 kilometer-long section of the Znamianka-Luhansk-Izvaryne part of the M-04 highway is to be opened, which would allow drivers to bypass Donetsk.
Five bypasses, two multi-level junctions and a bridge were built on the highway.
According to the press release, Ukravtodor is to open a 24.7 kilometer-long section of the Znamianka-Luhansk-Izvaryne highway to bypass Luhansk. Three junctions, bridges over railway tracks and a bridge across the Olkhova River are to be opened.
