Avangard projects capital investment at $37 m in 2011

Avangard agribusiness, the leading producer of shell eggs and egg products in Ukraine, projects that its capital investment in 2011 will be $37 million, which will be spent mainly on the completion of two poultry factories, the company said in its bond issue prospectus.

The company plans that its capital investment in 2010 will be five times higher than those in 2009, and will amount to $185.6 million.

The company said that it already invested $11.5 million in the first half of 2010 alone.

Currently, the agribusiness is implementing a project for the construction of two modern poultry farming and chicken meat processing complexes and in Kherson and Khmelnytsky regions.
