The first two wholesale markets of agricultural products in Ukraine could open in May-June 2011 in Kyiv and Lviv, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said.
"I believe we will build two large wholesale markets in Kyiv and Lviv by May-June," he said at a meeting dedicated to current issues of the development of region in Vinnytsia on Tuesday.
He noted that the creation of the network of large wholesale markets of agricultural goods is one of the priorities for the government and added that this was necessary to regulate the supply of agricultural goods on the market and prevent a surge in demand for these goods.
