Evraz sold its 94.96% stake in Evraz Yuzhkoks (Pivdenkoks) in Ukraine for $63 million in December, Evraz said in its earnings report.

Evraz President Alexander Frolov told journalists last summer that the company was considering sale of the asset.

It was reported in July that Evraz Yuzhkoks had begun exporting output to Turkey amid a lack of demand in Ukraine due to the continuing shutdown at Dniprovsky Metallurgical Combine (DMZ).

Evraz also announced on Thursday it was selling another asset in Ukraine, Evraz DMZ, to Oleksandr Yaroslavsky's DCH for $106 million.

In other words, Evraz no longer has production capacity in Ukraine. Until recently Evraz had three assets in Ukraine: Evraz DMZ, Evraz Yuzhkoks and Evraz Sukha Balka in Kryvy Rih, which DCH also acquired last year.
