Brazil's national agency for sanitary supervision (Agencia Nacional deVigilancia Sanitaria, ANVISA) has inspected production facilities of Yuria-Pharm pharmaceutical company, the State Service for Medicines and Drugs Control of Ukraine has reported on its website.
Production of Infulgan (Paracetamolum), Maxicin (Moxifloxacinum), Inbutol (Aethambutolum), Soluven (sodium chloride) and Bitub (Isoniazid) solutions was inspected.
The results of the inspection of production facilities, warehouses and a sterilization section will be presented in a report within one month after the inspection.
"The inspection and the receipt of a GMP conformity certificate will allow the Ukrainian producer Yuria-Pharm LLC to sell Ukrainian-made medicines on the market of the Federal Republic of Brazil," the authority said.
The Yuria-Pharm Corporation is a manufacturer of infusion products, medicines and medical products. It is among top ten leaders in volumes of pharmacy sales, occupying 6.2% of the market in 2016. Yuria-Pharm is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.
