British Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough has expressed the opinion that Ukraine needs to lobby the British government much more on visa liberalization.
"The best advice I can give: firstly it’s not particular to Ukraine, we have similar regimes with a number of countries around the world. And if you don't like it, your government needs to lobby my government much more on these issues, "Gough said during the round table titled "Foreign Policy Audit: Ukraine-the United Kingdom" in Kyiv on Monday.
"You need to be very clear what you want of a visa regime and communicate it back to London," she added.
