Former transport minister against leasing out Zhuliany airport

Ukraine's former transport and communications minister and leader of the People's Power Party Yosyp Vinsky is against leasing Zhuliany Airport objects to private structures, according to Vinsky's press service.

"The airport was reconstructed using state funds, and according to an agreement which is at the transport ministry, the airport should be transferred to state ownership, to the management of the transport ministry," the press service said, referring to a letter by Vinsky dated June 1 to Ukraine Premier Mykola Azarov.
