The state-run Ukraina printing and publishing house (Kyiv) has been reorganized into a budget-sustained enterprise and transferred from the subordination of the Finance Ministry to the Cabinet of Ministers.
This is stipulated in a cabinet resolution of February 17, published on Wednesday.
"[The company is reorganized] so as to improve the state regulations and strengthen controls on the sphere of the production of forms of security papers and official accounting documents, as well as to improve the system of state management," reads the document.
Andriy Radiuk was appointed new head of the Ukraina printing and publishing house, the government's press service reported.
At present Radiuk is working at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and he had been Director General of JSC Ekonomicheskie Izvestia Publishing House until spring of 2008.
As reported, during the presidential election, recently held in Ukraine, the Ukraina printing and publishing house was involved in a conflict between the authorities and the opposition in connection with an attempt by the government to change the company's director general.
As a result, under a cabinet resolution of January 27, 2010, Roman Sereda was appointed acting director general of the Ukraina printing and publishing house.
