Temporary administration could be withdrawn from five of eleven Ukrainian problem banks and they could start working as normal, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has reported.
"When taking a decision on each of these banks, the NBU takes into consideration the issue of protecting the creditors' and depositors' interests and estimates the state's possible losses," a source of Interfax-Ukraine at the NBU said.
According to the source, the prospects for the other problem banks are uncertain: both the prolongation of the term of temporary administration at the banks and the banks' liquidation are possible.
