National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy has launched a third gas well at the Alam El Shawish concession field in Egypt's Western Desert, the press center of the state holding reported on Monday.
The press center said that during the exploration of the G level of the Abu Rawash formation a flow rate of 270,00 cubic meters per day of gas and 64,500 cubic meters of gas condensate were recorded on February 20, 2010.
"Thus, the company has opened the third field on the Alam El Shawish concession deposit in Egypt," reads the press release.
