Feed-in electricity tariffs for households 3.6% up from Feb 12

Feed-in tariffs for electricity generated from renewable sources by private households from February 12 increased by 3.6%.

The new tariffs are fixed in resolution No. 3144 of the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) dated December 19, 2015, which entered into force on February 12.

In particular, feed-in tariff for solar power plants put into operation in 2016 and operated by households will rise by 16.94 kopecks, to UAH 4.82 kopecks per kWh (excluding VAT). Tariffs for wind power stations commissioned by the end of 2019 by private households will increase by 10.37 kopecks, to UAH 2.95 kopecks per kWh (excluding VAT).

As reported, households have the right to sell excess electricity under feed-in tariffs (excluding own consumption) produced by solar and wind power plants with an installed capacity of up to 30 kW.
