The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund could reimburse the depositors of Bank Kontrakt for UAH 96.406 million out of UAH 178.254 million of obligations to them as of October 7, according to the website of the fund.
In particular, UAH 123.747 million was placed in individuals' deposits, while UAH 54.507 million was placed in individuals' accounts.
The report also states that the fund has started seeking potential investors for the bank. Documents from potential investors will be accepted until October 29.
The fund introduced temporary administration in Bank Kontrakt from October 7 on the basis of the decision of the National Bank of Ukraine on recognizing the financial institution as insolvent, according to the website of the fund.
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine governance declared PJSC Bank Kontrakt as insolvent by adopting corresponding resolution No. 671 on October 6.
