Ukraine's Health Ministry plans to select the international agencies that will be engaged in the purchase of medicines and vaccines at the expense of budget funds by the end of July, Deputy Health Minister Ihor Perehynets has said.
"By the end of July, the Health Ministry will select agencies with whom it will conclude a contract with and whom it will give a list of items and estimated demand in medicines," he said in Kyiv on Tuesday at a working meeting devoted to the issues of the participation of international organizations in the procurement of medicines and vaccines.
A draft government resolution will be agreed soon which will outline parameters for the selection of international organizations for state procurements in the health care sector, he said.
"We're looking forward to the adoption of the resolution, which will determine criteria for the selection," he added.
