Net Element (the United States), whose core business is mobile payments, has closed its office in Ukraine, reads a company report on the website of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
According to the report, the decision to close the office in Ukraine was made in February 2015.
Net Element entered the Ukrainian market in October 2013 and created a subsidiary - TOT Group Ukraine LLC. From November 2013 the company cooperated with the largest bank in Ukraine – PrivatBank – in local banking and mobile payment transactions.
The company, which is based in Miami, was founded in 2010.
