Actovegin, No-Spa lead rating of bestselling medicines in Ukraine in 2014
Actovegin and No-Spa have topped the rating of bestselling medicines in Ukraine in 2014, the ranking of marketing organizations includes Farmak and Berlin-Chemie/Menarini Group (Germany), the Apteka publication have promulgated such data, with reference to Proxima Research.
According to the company, Actovegin has kept the leading position in the market since 2013, while No-Spa in 2014 climbed to the second position from the fourth one.
The five leaders of sales also included Essentiale, Citramonum, and Nimesil.
Farmak ranked first in the ranking of marketing organizations by pharmacy sales in monetary terms, while Berlin-Chemie/Menarini Group was second.
Darnytsia pharmaceutical company climbed to the third place from the fourth one, pushing Japan's Takeda aside. Arterium Corporation ranked fifth instead of the previously ranked seventh.
The top ten marketing organizations also included Sanofi, Gedeon Richter (Hungary), Zdorovya group of companies, Teva (Israel), and KRKA (Slovenia).
The top 30 marketing organizations also included Kyiv Vitamin Factory, (2014-15th, 2013 - 17th), Yuria Pharm (2014 - 19th, 2013 – 22nd), Borschahivsky chemical pharmaceutical plant (2014 - 20th, 2013 - 16th), Delta Medical (2014 - 24th, 2013 – 21st), Interchem (2014 - 26th, 2013 - 19th), and Pro-Pharma (2014 – 29th, 2013 – 31st).
As reported, in 2013, according to a study by Proxima Research, the five bestselling drugs in monetary terms were Actovegin, Codterpinum, Cardiomagnyl, No-Spa, and Essentiale.
