French Suereca to draw up program on modernizing Kyiv’s heating system, says Kyivnergo
France's Seureca, (a branch of the Veolia Group), will draw up a program on modernizing the Kyiv’s central heating supply system in 2015, the press service of the public joint-stock company Kyivenergo has reported.
The memorandum between Seureca, Kyivenergo and Kyiv City Adminstration was signed on December 12, 2014.
"The program envisages the enlargement of boilers, their automation and a partial switch to alternative fuel (biomass), the reinstallation of heat pipelines, the installation of heat meters and the implementation of other energy saving measures. The results of the study will be taken into account by Kyivenergo," reads the report.
The program is being financed thanks to a grant issued by the French government under the FASEP program.
