A total of 449 local gas pipelines would be built in Ukraine in six months, according to Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko.
"You should know that from September 1 we started completing all gas pipelines. Naftogaz Ukrainy controls the issue, the holding would stay in contact with each rural and town council head, and I would control the process. We set a task to complete everything in six months," she said at a meeting on the elaboration of new approaches to the reformation of relations between local budgets in 2010, which is held in Kyiv on Saturday.
She also said that the resolution was approved a cabinet meeting and we supported everything with the finance.
Tymoshenko said that there are 449 unfinished local gas pipelines of 4,287 kilometers long, which could supply gas to 1.65 million people.
