Omega Ltd. (Dnipropetrovsk), which owns the chain of VARUS supermarkets and VARUS-EXPRESS convenience stores, has decided to close VARUS-EXPRESS convenience stores, according to a press release of the company.
The main reason for that are problems with attracting credit funds.
"Currently five of 22 VARUS-EXPRESS convenience stores have been closed. We plan to close the remaining stores by September," the company said.
According to the press release, the company will direct funds released in the result of closing the stores to develop the chain of VARUS supermarkets.
According to the company, in particular, it plans to open two VARUS supermarkets in Dnipropetrovsk in October.
