The National Bank of Ukraine and the NBU Council should immediately consider issues related to control on the use of funds allocated to commercial banks under the NBU's refinancing, NBU Council Head Petrol Poroshenko told reporters on Friday.
"I'm absolutely sure that the NBU should immediately take measures to monitor the use of funds provided as refinancing," he said.
The NBU should ensure that this money should be funneled into the real sector of economy, rather than to "the pockets of some banks or non-banking dealers," he said.
