A group of MPs have proposed that the goods imported to Ukraine for the implementation of the InterMedicalEcoCity project (the rehabilitation center on the Arabat Spit in Kherson region) be exempted from customs duty.
A respective bill, No. 2270-a, authored by 12 MPs from different factions, was registered in parliament on June 7, 2013.
The document proposes exempting from the payment of the customs duty those goods that are not produced in Ukraine, as well as those that are produced in the country, but do not meet the requirements of InterMedicalEcoCity.
The list and the number of products for preferential imports will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
