Veterinary Service of Ukraine bans supply of goods from four companies to Customs Union
The State Veterinary and Biosecurity Service of Ukraine from May 2, 2013 restricted the supply of animal products from four companies to the countries of the Customs Union, Rosselkhoznadzor has said, with reference to notifications from Ukrainian colleagues.
The reason for the ban was the disclosure of banned and harmful substances in the batches of animal products from Agromars, Tavr-Plus, Elitex, and Myronivska poultry factory.
Two of these companies, Agromars and Tavr-Plus, which produce poultry, have already drawn the attention of veterinarians this year. In February, a batch of products made by Agromars was returned for violations of safety norms. In March, problems with products made by Tavr-Plus were discovered.
