Russian Railways (RZD) fully placed its 11th series bond issue worth 15 billion rubles on Wednesday, the company said in a statement.
RZD implemented the placement through a book-building scheme by open subscription. The placement came to 15 million bonds at a par value of 1,000 rubles. The bonds will mature in seven years and have 14 semi-annual coupons. On November 24, the issuer set the rate of the first coupon at 13.5%. The rates of the second and third coupons will equal that of the first.
On November 19, RZD entirely placed its ninth series bond issue worth 15 billion rubes. The placement was implemented through a book-building scheme by open subscription. The rate of the first coupon was also set at 13.5%.
VTB, Sberbank, Gazprombank, Transcreditbank and Troika Dialog organized both issues. The Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS) registered the three bond issues - series nine, ten and 11 - in the summer of this year.
RZD's outstanding bond issues are series 3 worth 4 billion rubles, maturing in December 2009; series 5 for 10 billion rubles (January 2009); series 6 for 10 billion rubles (November 2010); and series 7 for 5 billion rubles (November 2012).
