Libya with its supplies of natural gas could be a good partner for Ukraine's chemical enterprises, which use natural gas as a raw material, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said.
"Ukrainian chemical plants are economically viable when they have enough natural gas. Libya could help these enterprises make profit," she said while opening the talks in the Libyan capital of Tripoli on Monday.
Tymoshenko noted that the privatization of OJSC Odesa Port-Side Plant (the town of Yuzhny, Odesa region) is currently underway and suggested Libya could participate in this process.
