Public joint-stock company Volyn-Cement (Zdolbuniv, Rivne region), part of Dyckerhoff AG (Germany), in 2012 cut its net profit by 4.6 times on 2011, to UAH 4.02 million, reads a company report.
The report says that its assets were up by 4.9% in 2012, to UAH 1.23 billion.
Its undistributed profit rose by 1%, to UAH 390,000, its short-term liabilities climbed by 31.9%, to UAH 170 million, and its long-term liabilities grew by 2.3%, to UAH 640 million.
Its total bills receivable narrowed by 41.6%, to UAH 94.6 million.
The number of employees contracted from 825 in late 2011 to 796 in late 2012.
Volyn-Cement was founded in 2001. The design capacity of the plant is two million tonnes of cement per year.
Its share capital as of late 2012 totaled UAH 1.402 million.
Dyckerhoff Aktiengesellschaft owns a 98.3208% stake in Volyn-Cement.
In Ukraine, Dyckerhoff AG, apart from PJSC Volyn-Cement, includes PJSC Yugcement (Olshanske, Mykolaiv region), OJSC Kyivcement (Kyiv), which sells the produce of Volyn-Cement and packs it into sacks.
Dyckerhoff AG is a member of Buzzi Unicem, which unites cement, concrete, sand and crushed stone producers. Dyckerhoff AG's core business is production of cement made at own enterprises in Germany, the United States, Luxemburg, the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.
