The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 5.14 billion to compensate for destroyed housing under the e-Recovery program. This will enable more than 3,600 families who lost their homes due to Russian attacks and received housing certificates to purchase new homes, Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky said.
"More than 88,000 families have already received housing certificates totaling UAH 112.6 billion, and more than 33,000 of those families have purchased new homes. Another 55,000 recipients are awaiting funding for their certificates," Koretsky said on his Telegram channel.
He added that the funds were provided by the Council of Europe Development Bank under the HOME project.
"We will continue this work until everyone whose home was taken by the Russians receives a new place to live," the prime minister said.
