The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has developed and submitted to the market for discussion amendments to the Rules for the Organization of Statistical Reporting Submitted to the Central Bank, the regulator said on its website.
According to the draft NBU resolution, the amendments are aimed at bringing the Rules into compliance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation and ensuring the ability to obtain reports from respondents (statistical reporting providers) in order to monitor their compliance with these requirements.
The draft amendments to the Rules, in particular, provide for the introduction of new files containing statistical reporting indicators: RX, "Data on the number of users and user accounts to which access is provided under open banking"; N1X, "Data on accounts for which acquiring services are provided"; and N2X, "Data on the volume of transactions conducted using payment devices."
The amendments also provide for changes to the structure of 20 existing files (the list of indicators, parameters, metrics and unclassified details of indicators); the deadline (time) for submitting and/or amending nine files; the name of the respondent (statistical reporting provider) for one file; and other changes.
Comments and proposals on the draft resolution will be accepted in the prescribed form until Sept. 1, 2026.
According to the statement, the relevant resolution will take effect on January 1, 2027.
