EU permanent representatives extend Russian oil price cap until July 23 – media
Permanent representatives of the EU countries have agreed at this stage to keep the current "price cap" on oil from Russia until July 23, 2026, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed European Union official.
"Permanent representatives will keep the current 'price cap' on Russian oil in place until July 23," the agency reported.
Currently, this "price cap" stands at $44.10 per barrel.
