EBRD to provide up to EUR 48.8 m for construction of second phase of Novoazovsky wind farm

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide a loan of up to EUR 48.8 million to Novoazovsky Wind Farm LLC to build the second phase of a wind farm in Donetsk region.

EBRD Principal Advisor for External Affairs Anton Usov told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday that the decision was made by the bank's board at a meeting a day before.

In particular, the bank could issue EUR 33.3 million directly and another EUR 15.5 million through the Clean Technology Fund.

The second phase of the wind farm, with a capacity of 32.5 MW, will include 13 Fuhrlander wind turbines with a generating capacity of 2.5 MW each.
