The Ukrainian parliament has ratified a credit agreement signed between Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) regarding a project on the renovation of hydroelectric power plants under the management of public joint-stock company Ukrhydroenergo.
A total of 271 out of 347 lawmakers registered in the session hall on Tuesday supported the law.
The agreement foresees the provision of a EUR 200 million loan to upgrade hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment at the power plants of Ukrhydroenergo.
