Ukrainian soybean exports fall by 18% in April 2026 – analysts
Ukrainian soybean exports fell by 18% in April, according to the APK-Inform information and analytical agency.
According to analysts, the pace of shipments significantly slowed in the last week of April.
"This is due to limited raw material supplies, increased competition in key markets from South American soybeans, and disruptions to port infrastructure due to Russian shelling," the agency noted.
Regarding pricing, last week’s soybean export market saw a price increase of $3-5 per tonne, reaching $439-450 per tonne at CPT port. Analysts clarified that this increase was localized, given the low trading activity.
"Overall, Ukrainian soybean export shipments decreased by 18% in April," APK-Inform stated.
