More than 2,600 units of power equipment arrive in Ukraine since early 2026, with the same number expected – Energy Ministry

Between January and April 2026, some 2,628 units of energy equipment arrived in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy reported on Monday.

"These include generators, transformers, modular boiler houses (MBH), cogeneration units (CHU), boilers, etc.", the ministry noted.

Assistance was provided by partners from the EU, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, the USA, Turkey, Finland, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, the Czech Republic, Poland, Cyprus, UNICEF/WASH, PFRU, and VOLVO.

"We expect to receive another 1,974 generators, 457 transformers, and 191 units of other equipment, including boilers, boiler-and-mass boilers, and combined heat and power units," the ministry reported.

Since the beginning of the year, 320 shipments of humanitarian aid have been sent to the regions, including 1,914 generators and 129 modular boiler units, cogeneration units, and boilers.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 38 countries have provided humanitarian energy aid: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, North Macedonia, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the United States, Hungary, Finland, France, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Bulgaria, and Turkey.
