Govt allocates additional UAH 2 bln for eRecovery – Svyrydenko

The Ukrainian government has decided to provide an additional UAH 2 billion in funding for the eRecovery program, which will make it possible to pay compensation for repairs to housing damaged by Russian attacks to almost 20,000 more Ukrainian families, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has said.

"The funds will be used for repairs of varying levels of complexity. For minor damage, up to UAH 200,000 is provided per facility. For more complex cases, the compensation amount is higher and depends on the type of housing: up to UAH 350,000 for apartments and up to UAH 500,000 for private houses," Svyrydenko said on Telegram on Wednesday.

According to her, a total of 139,000 families have already received compensation under the eRecovery program to restore housing worth UAH 13.5 billion.
