Farmers in frontline areas to receive up to 40% compensation for purchase of domestic equipment – All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council
Agricultural producers, operating in areas where hostilities are possible or are currently underway, will be able to receive up to 40% compensation for the cost of domestically produced agricultural machinery and equipment, the press service of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council reported.
The business association recalled that the Cabinet of Ministers, by Resolution No. 443 of April 3, 2026, updated the procedure for using budget funds under this program. From now on, farms with at least 80% of their land located in frontline areas and registered there on the application date are eligible for 40% compensation. For other agricultural producers, the compensation rate remains unchanged at 25%.
"A separate resolution refines the approach to determining the Ukrainian component in equipment production. This should expand opportunities for domestic manufacturers and expand the range of equipment eligible for compensation," notes the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council’s clarification, which Interfax-Ukraine has obtained.
The 2026 state budget has allocated UAH 1.8 billion for the program’s implementation. The Ministry of Economy’s official list already includes 14,425 items from 166 Ukrainian factories. To receive payments, farmers must select equipment from this list and submit an application through an authorized bank.
