Russia's losses from Ukrainian energy strikes already in tens of billions of dollars – Zelenskyy
Ukraine is mirroring Russia’s strikes on its energy infrastructure and hitting what is painful for Russia, with their losses already in the tens of billions of dollars, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
"As for our responses to Russian strikes on our energy infrastructure – they are certainly mirrored. We certainly attack what is painful for Russia… Today their losses are already in the tens of billions. These are critical losses for Russia," Zelenskyy told journalists on Thursday.
Russia does not want to stop and continues to strike Ukrainians and energy infrastructure, so Ukraine will continue to target Russia’s largest energy generation capacities and weapons production facilities, he said.
This is one of the ways to put pressure on Russia, the president said.
