Ukrnafta announces tender for installation of cogeneration plant through EBRD platform
JSC Ukrnafta announced a procurement for the supply of equipment and installation of a cogeneration power plant through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) platform, the company announced on Wednesday.
"Ukrnafta invites reliable partners to participate in a tender on the EBRD’s Electronic Procurement Portal for the procurement of works on the installation of modern distributed generation capacities," the message reads.
The company clarified that the contract concerns the supply of equipment and comprehensive installation work for a cogeneration power plant with a total installed electrical capacity of approximately 20 MW.
The tender is open until June 2, 2026.
Participants are invited to submit their tender proposals in accordance with the tender documentation posted in the ECEPP system on the bank’s website. All requests for clarification will be accepted exclusively through the official ECEPP system.
As reported, Ukrnafta is developing a new, important business line: gas to power. The company’s portfolio includes over 400 MW of distributed generation projects, which are being implemented jointly with the EBRD and with grant support from the governments of Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands.
JSC Ukrnafta is Ukraine’s largest oil producing company and the operator of the nation’s largest network of filling stations, UKRNAFTA.
The shareholders of JSC Ukrnafta are Naftogaz Ukrainy and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Since 2022, the company has been under state control and is implementing a large-scale business transformation.
The company operates over 1,106 oil and 131 gas wells.
UKRNAFTA is the largest network of petrol stations in Ukraine, comprising nearly 700 stations and ranking among the top three in terms of fuel sales. The UKRNAFTA brand consolidates networks previously operating under the Glusco, Shell, and U.Go brands.
