Ukrtransnafta ready to resume oil transit to Hungary and Slovakia – MOL

State-owned JSC Ukrtransnafta, he company responsible for operating the Ukrainian section of the Druzhba pipeline, officially informed Hungary’s MOL that repair works on the Druzhba Pipeline have been completed and that the force majeure conditions in effect since January 27, 2026 ceased.

"According to the notification, JSC Ukrtransnafta is ready to resume crude oil transit to Hungary and Slovakia," MOL, which operates refineries in Hungary and Slovakia, announced on its website on Wednesday.

The company clarified that the force majeure circumstances ceased to apply as of 6:00 PM on April 21.

As reported, Hungary and Slovakia cited the resumption of Russian oil transit as conditions for unblocking the EUR 90 billion loan to Ukraine and reviewing the 20th EU sanctions package against Russia.
